Each room has access to free wireless Internet, and guests can add a bit of luxury by reserving a suite with a whirlpool tub.
  
  There a number of pet-friendly activities nearby such as Blue Marsh Lake and Hawk Mountain with 20 minutes of the hotel. The Appalachian Trail passes right through Hamburg and is just over a mile from the hotel. The Yuengling Brewery and Dorney Park are just a few of the non-pet-friendly attractions within 30 minutes of the Microtel Inn. Guests looking for a bite to eat are within a few minutes of the historic Hamburg Diner.

Dutch Motel

• Guests traveling with dogs will find the Dutch Motel a very inexpensive option for lodging near Hamburg. Although cats are not welcome at the motel, the Dutch Motel does allow dogs and charges $10 per night for each. The motel offers rooms with a country look and cable television but refrains from other amenities such as wireless Internet access. Some rooms also have an in-room microwave and refrigerator. The motel is within minutes of Hawk Mountain and Blue Marsh Lake. Other attractions within 30 minutes of the motel include Roadside America Miniature Village, the Pat Garret Amphitheater and Hershey Park.
  
  Guests will need to travel at least 20 minutes for a wider range of restaurant options than what is offered near the Dutch Motel; however, there is a Dairy Queen and the Blue Mountain Family Restaurant minutes from the motel.

Scottish Inn

• Another very inexpensive pet-friendly option is the Scottish Inn situated 10 miles outside of Hamburg. The motel welcomes pets but requires a small deposit at check-in depending on the size of the pet. The motel refrains from offering a number of amenities found in larger chain hotels such as a wireless Internet or a continental breakfast, however, all rooms do include cable television and free local calls, while guests can also request rooms with a microwave and refrigerator.
  
  The motel is nearby Hawk Mountain, Blue Marsh Lake, Hershey Park and the Pat Garret Amphitheater, while another theme park, Dorney Park, is 40 minutes away. Outside of the Blue Mountain Family Restaurant, which is within minutes of the motel, guests won't find a diverse number of restaurants and will need to travel 10 miles east to Hamburg for more options.
