- 1). Press absorbent towels on the urine and absorb as much urine as possible. Replace the towels as needed.
- 2). Wet the stain with plain water to dilute it and press towels on it to reabsorb it. This is particularly important if you used another cleaning product on it.
- 3). Spray an enzyme-based cleaning product on the stain. Enzyme cleaners consume the proteins in urine and will eliminate the odor smell. Follow the manufacturer's instructions. Some products require rinsing.
- 4). Dry the stain by pointing a fan at it.
