- 1). Place ice cubes along the impressions on the carpet. Wait for the ice cubes to melt.
- 2). Blot up the melted water with clean, absorbent towels. Fluff up the fibers with your fingers or the edge of a spoon as you blot the water.
- 3). Wait for the carpets to thoroughly dry and then vacuum the area to fluff the fibers even more.
- 1). Fill a clean, plastic spray bottle with water. Spray the water over the carpet impressions.
- 2). Set a hair dryer on the hottest heat setting and direct the air all along the impressions.
- 3). Fluff up the fibers as the carpet is drying.
