Sometimes the problem isn't in hooking the man, but in keeping them interested. As a relationship progresses you need to remind your significant other that that you are still interested and care about them. Follow this guide to winning a man's heart, and keeping it.

Loosen the reigns and give him freedom. Nothing pushes guys away more than when a girl holds on too tightly. Besides, as women we are notorious for our "needed" girls days. We get facials, manicures, pedicures and massages.  We go shopping with friends coming home with bags full of clothing. Guys need to relax and spend time with their friends too. Suggest that he takes a little man time and get a group of friends together to go golfing, hunting, skiing or target shooting.

They always say the way to a man's heart is through his stomach, and it proves true time and time again. Nothing is better than a home cooked meal. If you're feeling extra sweet make him your favorite meal, even if it contains way too much butter. Bring him treats when he's had a long day. Make snacks for him and your friends to eat while you're hanging out, playing games or watching a movie.

How many time haves you forced your husband or boyfriend to watch the most recent episode of Vampire Diaries with you? Give him a break and turn on something that he will enjoy. He pretends to care who gets kicked off the Bachelor Monday nights, show him the same kind of support. Nothing will show you care more like getting him something thoughtful. If he's into guns purchase him a new rifle or a gun safe. If he's into sports get him a subscription to ESPN magazine.

Be nice to his friends. They may be smelly and drive you absolutely crazy, but they are important people in his life. Do your best to be nice and seem honestly interested in their lives. Don't rag on your guy's friends to him. This will offend him, and most likely push him away. Remember that he seeks his friend's approval of you, just as you seek your friend's approval of him.
