• The Majors Golf Club, in Palm Bay, Florida, is a less than 10 minute drive from Melbourne. Open for play since 1999, the Arnold Palmer designed course is unique in that it has many natural trees, a rarity by Central Florida golf standards. The course meanders through many water hazards, presenting challenges for golfers of all abilities on nearly every hole. The course measures 6,850 yards from the back tees and has a par of 72, slope rating of 141 and course rating of 73.8. Greens fees are $29.99 every day (no weekend rate increases). Designed by Louis Powell, the course has a links-style design which is reinforced in players' minds by the winds that blow off of the Atlantic coast.
