Jumping Exercises That Increase Vertical Jump Fast

Everyone that has ever played basketball or volleyball wants to learn how to jump higher.
The truth is that you can learn how to increase your vertical leap in a short period of time if you train properly.
Lets take a look at some of the best jumping exercises you can do in order to make that happen.
First off, you don't have to go out and get a gym membership in order to increase your vertical jumping ability.
These workouts can be done at home.
Squats- These are very simple and you need to follow the correct form when doing them.
Stand with your feet about shoulder width apart with your toes slightly point out.
You will squat down until your thighs are almost parallel with the ground.
You will have to put your arms out in front of you in order to maintain balance and not tip over backwards.
From the squatted position you stand back up and then repeat.
Jump Squats- The same as before, you will go down slow and then explode up, jumping as high as you can and then landing back into a squatted position.
These will help build up muscle so that you can do some of the more advanced plyometrics workouts that put a little more stress on the body.
You need to get strong legs before doing any type of plyometric training though.
Calf Raises- These are very simple, you stand on a step and go all the way up onto the ball of your foot and then down so that your heel is below the ball of the foot and you feel a good stretch in the calf.
