How to Make a Men's Carnivale Costume

1). Decide on a theme and colors, then match your costume supplies with that theme. For example, you may choose to do a bird theme and choose the colors blue and gold.
2). Make your carnival parade headpiece first. Obtain a plastic headband and then twist four or five pipe cleaners around one another. Attach the pipe cleaners to the headband by wrapping the metal tip around the headband. Stick fake feathers into the headband and secure them with the pipe cleaners. Paste glitter and sequins to the the headband as well. Let the glue dry for a day.
3). Choose the body of the outfit. Depending on your level of comfort, you can wear a brightly colored bathing suit or body suit. Try to align it with your theme and paste on glitter and sequins.
4). Cover the remainder of your body in colorful paint. Strap feathers and plumes onto your body to complete the core of your outfit.
5). Accessorize with bangles, beaded necklaces and light-hearted face paint.
