- 1). Choose a location for your transponder. Make sure it is at least 1 inch below the top windshield frame and that it is behind, and to the right of, your rearview mirror.
- 2). Peel the protective sticker off the back of the transponder to expose the adhesive pads.
- 3). Place the transponder in the chosen location, with the label facing you.
- 4). Press firmly at the sides and corners for a couple of seconds to ensure that the transponder is secure on the windshield.
