- 1). Spread out the tent with the floor side down on a level site free of rocks, sticks and other debris. Unzip all doors.
- 2). Unfold the tent poles. Start in the middle of the pole, and pull out each section and insert it into the metal ferrule. Set the poles aside.
- 3). Attach the center hub to the center roof of the tent with an S hook.
- 4). Slide one tent pole through one of the sleeves on the tent. Insert the top of the pole into the center hub. Repeat with the remaining tent poles.
- 5). Lift up the center hub from inside the tent, raising the tent poles off of the ground. Take one of the tent poles and place the free end into the metal pin at the base of the tent. Repeat with the remaining tent poles.
- 6). Attach the plastic clips from the tent to the tent pole frame along the seams. If your tent has Velcro straps instead of clips, fasten them to the tent pole frame.
- 7). Insert the tent stakes through the stake loops at each corner of the tent, pulling the tent floor even and tight. Hammer the stakes into the ground at a 45-degree angle away from the tent.
- 8). Lay the rain fly over the tent. Attach the hooks on the corners of the rain fly to the metal rings on the tent corners. Slide the fly pole through the sleeve at the edge of the rain fly awning. Insert each fly pole end into the grommets on either side of the door.
