Mala bracelets are an ancient form of jewelry that combines spirituality and fashion. Typically, these bracelets include 27 beads and a tassel. This tutorial shows just one way to design and create a Mala bracelet. I use mother of pearl beads, a large crystal beads, and then make the tassel using chain. Very often, I have seen similar bracelet made using elastic so that you can just pull them over your hand since there is no clasp, but for this design, I decided to include a clasp with it.
To make a Mother of Pearl Mala Bracelet, you will need the following tools and supplies:

Chain-nosed pliers
Round-nosed pliers
Awl or corsage pin
Hypo-cement glue
27 - 4mm Mother of pearl beads (bleached so they are white in color)
1 - 8mm Faceted clear crystal bead
4 - 1 inch sections of medium weight silver tone chain
2 Bead tips (also silver tone)
1 - 6mm Silver tone jump ring
1 - 7mm Silver tone spring ring clasp
Sile or nylon white size 2 thread with attached beading needle
