This statue can be found outside of the Old Town on your way to Mogren beach.
There are many folk stories about this statue's origins.
Some of these stories say this statue is of young girl who drowned here while other stories say that this is just ordinary statue made to enhance the looks of the town.
Regardless of these stories you will find this is an excellent spot to take picture of Budva with a panoramic view of the Old Town in background.

This citadel can be found in the southern part of the Old Town.
The entire citadel was reconstructed after an earthquake which occurred here.
Around the citadel you will be able to visit the Museum of Budva which has many interesting historical items from Budva's past.
For those who are interested in seeing religious buildings you will find the Church of Saint John to be most interesting.
This church was the Seat of the Budva bishopric until 1828.
Even though the church was fully built by 1867 the church's belfry was added to the north side of the church after this date and today you will see that it still exists without any lasting damages.
Among preserved monuments in the church you will find the most important ones include the icon of "Madonna in Punta".
The church also has rich archives and a fabulous library.
Among its various holdings the Chronicle of Budva is the most comprehensive source of data and events which occurred in Budva between 1796 and 1842.
