Although smaller than the Big Apple, Stamford has plenty to offer its residents and visitors, including many fine- and casual-dining options. - Voted the number one pizza restaurant in Stamford by the Stamford Pizza Tour, Amore serves up a collection of traditional Italian dishes (pizza, and otherwise) as well as some more interesting meals, like wild boar and ostrich. Family-owned Amore Restaurant serves takeout, and has space for private parties of up to 80 guests. The restaurant is open seven days a week, serving lunch and dinner Monday to Friday, and dinner only on Saturday and Sunday. Dress is casual.
