How to Decorate Chairs for a Wedding Ceremony
- 1). Measure out 5 yards of one color of the tulle fabric. Cut the 5 yards into three pieces. This is enough tulle for two to three chairs. Get enough tulle so that you have enough fabric for all the chairs at the wedding ceremony. Choose tulle in one of the wedding colors, or opt for a sparkly gold or silver color.
- 2). Wrap a swath of the cut tulle loosely around the middle of the back of each chair. It should be just tight enough so that it does not slip down. Tie it in a large bow so that the ends of the bow hang down to just about the bottom of the chairs. Repeat this on every chair.
- 3). Measure out 5 yards of another color of tulle fabric. Cut it into three pieces.
- 4). Drape a piece of the coordinating color of tulle diagonally across the chairs, over the first draping. Tie it in a loose knot instead of a bow. Repeat this on all of the chairs at the ceremony.
- 5). Put a silk flower into the middle of each bow, placing the stem in the center of the knot. Use flowers such as orchid or magnolia. Make sure that the stem is short enough so that it is not visible on the bottom of the bow. Attach the flowers to all the chairs.
