- 1). Install the software and drivers that came with your smart phone. If you do not have them, then go to your phone manufacturer's website and download the software.
- 2). Using a data cable, connect your phone to your PC. Do this by connecting the cable to the bottom of your phone and the other end into the USB port on your computer.
- 3). Launch the application by going to the "Start Menu" and opening up the smart phone application that you installed. Click on the "Messages" tab in your software. Look for the button that says "Sync Messages" and click it to sync your messages.
