How to Train Like Ashley Judd
- 1). Work out with a personal trainer when you need to prepare quickly. Judd uses Steve Kim when she needs to gain muscle quickly for an action movie.
- 2). Take a long run in the outdoors or run on a treadmill. With two homes in the country, the actress loves running outside, but when the weather turns cold, she looks to the treadmill.
- 3). Try hiking through the hills of Tennessee or Scotland. The actress has houses in both places and loves hiking. Sometimes she even takes her racecar driver husband along.
- 4). Go mountain biking when you're looking for something different. Judd grew up in the country and she has long loved taking out a mountain bike for a long and effective workout.
- 5). Head to the mountains again for a little rock climbing. This activity is something that Judd found recently and has learned is a great workout.
- 6). Spend at least an hour on a Stairmaster to work the entire body and to tone up your legs and backend. Judd loves the way her rear looks and credits that to her time spent on the Stairmaster.
- 7). Opt for yoga, which helps get you in shape and helps you relax and unwind. Judd discovered yoga years ago and tries to work out at least once a week at home using yoga.
