In the ancient times, there was a man, huge and strong.
On his face are marks which can scare even the boldest of all men.
He was found at the border of the Persians.
No one knows where Asad emerge from, but everyone who saw him was amazed at the sight of him.
Although in his face he bears the most horrible marks ever seen in those days, but looking into his eyes there are millions of sparkling stars which could charm anyone and his good heart can be seen like if someone is looking at his face in the mirror.
Asad has no memory of his past.
It seems he has lost it to the world he has once lived before he was found by the Persians.
After many deliberation on receiving Asad into their kingdom or considering him as an enemy.
They came to conclusion that Asad will be useful in war and in building of houses.
They brought him in and tamed him as a prisoner.
This they continue to do to him when led to war and work.
During his working hours a day, he found a princess of his.
A woman who truly looks beyond the horrible marks on his face and reached into his soul.
He saw for the first time ever known to him, someone who genuinely love him for who he is.
She saw the goodness in his heart, even with the chains on him and all the criticisms made on him.
So, the two of them enjoy one another company, until the people around suspected they are having an affair.
When this happened, she was driven away from him.
Many war the Persians fought and won with Asad, who is the strongest and the biggest in their kingdom.
He is always fierce when fighting, this made the Persians to refer to him as the tamed beast.
Many kingdoms that have nurse the ambition of going to war with the Persians have become their ally, not because of anything than the fear of being conquered because of Asad.
All the kingdoms around the Persia feared him, but the Persians continue to maltreat this fearsome warrior.
A day came when a spy was sent to Asad from one of the ally kingdom.
He came with a proposal that if Asad should fight for his kingdom, that he will be set loose and make to live freely like one of them.
He also made known to Asad that his king has promised him a house of his own if Asad will consent to it, but Asad refused.
Not that, he is not tempted by the offers, but he wont dare risk the love of his life to anything.
Asal, the love of his life continues to meet with him in secretes, despite the warnings given by her parents and the king, whose cousin she is.
They both talked about their experiences and Asad has no other experiences to share than the ones he had experienced in Persia, in war and while building houses.
They love themselves greatly, but the Persians who knew of these secrete affairs were angry and bitter everyday when they see both of them together.
They could not imagine any woman falling in love with Asad, not to talk of a royal blood being in love with her.
Therefore, the envy of the Persians grow more and more for Asad.
However, they could do nothing to Asad who was watched daily by the king's guards.
Meanwhile, the king of Persian has made more enemies than friends, even as many kingdoms as become his ally.
Most of these kingdoms still grow in hatred for the king.
They only become his ally for the fear of being conquered and make slaves.
The king has become proud and wicked since the arrival of Asad.
On one occasion, he took away the wife and the daughter of a king and made them his wives without the consent of the king.
Many of such actions depict the ways the king lived.
So the kingdoms under him and other kingdoms which heard the stories of this king, come together and plan to war against him.
Their only worry was Asad, who they thought off as obstacle, but have no option than to war against him.
They have become tired of his wickedness.
They also worry about Asad less, when they consider how many they are.
When the war begins, they fought and fought and the smell of victory were all around them, until they release Asad.
This time Asad was unloose and he fought like he has never fought before and over turn the war for the good of the Persians.
Not quite long, their enemies begin to grow weak, and eventually they surrender.
Most of them were made slaves and only few numbers of them escaped.
After the war Asal continues in her usual visit to the prison to see Asad.
They continue in their love, but the people of Persians were not happy at the sight of both of them together.
They despise Asad so much, to see any woman of the kingdom consider him as her lover, not to talk of a member of the royal family.
So therefore, they planned to put a stop to their relationship.
The king and his council came up with a plan to make a man sleep with Asal, because it is one of their customs to give a woman to the man who first slept with her.
This they did to Asal forcefully and made her become bitter and full of rage, which led to her suicidal.
Several days have gone by, in which Asad waited passionately for Asal visit, but instead it was the company of the silence of the days he had.
Nevertheless, the thoughts of Asal was the only thing that filled up his mind.
One day when Asad was at work, suddenly he became tired, being overwhelmed with the thoughts of Asal who has been his source of strength, since he was in Persia.
When he fell down, one of the king's guards made jest of him, when he saw the way he fell, saying:hey, weak fellow!, work or soon join your beloved Asal in the afterlife.
When Asad heard this he became very furious and almost chase life away from the guard, until he confessed to him how it happened.
When Asad heard this, he became full of rage and suddenly, all the fibres of his being regain strength.
He killed and killed, and plan to wipe away the whole kingdom.
This he successfully did, and ended it by taking the lives of the council and the royal family who brought up the plan.
After the ruin of the kingdom, Asad having no place to run to, for the love Asad he made himself lied on a sword and died, believing that he will see Asad once again in the afterlife.
