How to Pack for an Outdoor Concert
- 1). Gather information about the concert venue, including available seating, concessions and policies on what you can bring inside. Most of the time you can find all of this information on the venue's website. One of the most important things to find out is whether or not you are allowed to bring outside drinks such as bottled water into the venue.
- 2). Pack food and drinks for the day. Some outdoor concerts can last seven hours or more and concessions are often limited so it's important to pack some sort of lunch such as sandwiches and bring plenty of bottled water or other drinks.
- 3). Pack some other essentials. Sunscreen is a must-have as are a good pair of sunglasses. If the venue does not have seating, you may want to bring a blanket or even some folding chairs. No matter how into the music you are, most people will still need a break or two at some point throughout the day.
- 4). Limit your packing to avoid having to lug a heavy backpack around all day. Food, water and sunscreen are the essentials. If you choose to bring anything else make sure it is important enough to have to carry all day.
