How to Buff Enamel
- 1). Wash the car with mild soap and water, making sure no dirt remains on the enamel. Rinse the car thoroughly and dry with a cloth.
- 2). Attach the coarse wool pad to the buffer. Turn on the buffer to a medium-high speed, not higher than 2500 rpm.
- 3). Touch the buffing wheel to the buffing compound for about 1 second. Place the spinning wheel against the enamel, using medium pressure. Move the buffer the entire time, creating an evenly buffed surface.
- 4). Turn off the buffer and replace the wool pad with a foam pad. Turn on the buffer and apply the foam pad compound. Move the foam pad over the surface until the enamel shines.
