How to Make Your Own Traceable Worksheets
- 1). Select images to use on your worksheet. Good traceable images include letters of the alphabet, single numbers, shapes and simple cartoon characters utilizing shapes such as circles and triangles.
- 2). Download the images to your hard drive. Save the file as a name you can remember.
- 3). Open your word processor, creating a title for the worksheet.
- 4). Open the 'insert picture' tab. Locate the file with your saved images and upload them to your worksheet.
- 5). Grab the lower right corner of the image box dragging it a short distance to increase the size of your image, making it easier to trace. You can do the opposite for reducing the size of an image.
- 6). Place your cursor on the image, hold the left click button down and move the image box to the position you want it on your worksheet.
- 7). Add the textual information to your worksheet, keeping in mind not to make it too wordy.
- 8). Save your file. Print off your worksheet and distribute to your class.
