How to Create a Fighter in UFC 2010
- 1). Select "General" and enter the basic information about your fighter. Press "A" or "X" to select and name your hometown, country, city, age and first and last name. You may enter your nickname or choose from a preselected name, but by choosing a preselected nickname, both Mike Goldberg and Joe Rogan will say your nickname during the fight announcements and during the fight.
- 2). Select the "Weight Type" section from the general information section. The weight type is important --- it will determine the type of fighters you will be facing. For example, if you decide to create a fighter for the 205 light heavyweight division, you will be fighting against other light heavyweights such as Chuck Liddle or Tito Ortiz. In addition, each weight class will have a maximum power, speed and cardio statistic that will affect your fighter.
- 3). Select the "Skin/Physique" menu. Press "A" or "X" and select the type of body, skin and face you want for your fighter. Each option allows you to choose from six-pack abs to no abs and from light skin to dark skin. The face option allows you to customize your fighter's facial features, including eyes, sideburns, hair style and facial hair.
- 4). Select the "Performance" menu, where you can customize your touch gloves sequence, fighter call, victory scene and taunt action.
- 5). Select the "Physical Appearance" menu. Choose the type of sponsor logos, tattoos, gloves, shorts, knee brace or ankle tape your fighter will use from each dropdown menu. Both the tattoos and sponsor logos allow you to choose what type of tattoo or logo your fighter will use, and where on your fighter's body or shorts it will be placed.
- 6). Select the "Fighting Style" menu. From the menu, select and edit your fighting stance, attributes and skills. The attributes and skills will determine how you will perform during fights.
