1). Acquire 20 gemstones and 20 pieces of metal. These can be found in loot or purchased in major cities. Both are abundant and cheap within the game world.
2). Purchase a dye kit schematic. These can be acquired from stores or from the recruiters of a relevant faction. For instance, to create a dye kit for Crusader Armor, speak with an imperial official. Dye kits are not generic, but must be made specifically for each type of armor.
3). Create the dye kit by using the schematic and combining the gemstones and metal.
4). Apply the dye kit to the armor.
