I finally finished playing the game and this is my Angry Birds Halloween review: Graphics and sound - If you played the first version of the Angry Birds game, you feel right at home playing the new Angry Birds Halloween version.
Those of us who know already the first game, will feel right at home in the new version, when there is a graphical experience with the background style Halloween.
The new game has better lighting effects also enhance the experience.
The game's music and sound is different from the first game and matches the Halloween holiday experience.
Throughout the game a frightening background music is played accompanied by scary sound effects that enhance the gaming experience.
Interface - The new game's interface is the same as the great first version, which makes the gaming experience familiar for those of us who have played it in the past.
If you are not yet familiar with the Angry Birds game, the interface is an easy touch screen playing experience.
Simply touch the bird with your finger, press down, aim the bird at the target and release - the bird will now fly across the screen on route to kill the pigs.
Gaming - To be honest the new version is not much different the first version except for the Halloween atmosphere.
The people at Rovio knew what they were doing and really enhanced the gaming experience making it all about Halloween - with the black and orange background, lots of pumpkins, creepy looking trees, bats, hovering lanterns and more.
As I advanced through the themes I was truly impressed with how more challenging and difficult the game was which meant I had to take a moment to think and strategies my moves before lunching the bird to kill as many pigs as possible - and that is not easy! Facts - The Angry Birds Halloween version includes 45 new levels and challenges during which the angry birds are still trying to destroy the green evil pigs who stole their eggs.
Through the new version you can collect new golden eggs hiding around.
In addition, the new title includes full integration with a feature the Crystal of Chillingo and a feature to the Apple Game Center.
Conclusion - Pro - The new version is based on the same great graphics and sound experience as the previous version; great interface; enhanced gaming experience with atmosphere of the Halloween holiday, 45 new challenging levels and fun.
Con - In the end of the day, the Angry Birds Halloween game is in fact not a new game rather an enhanced new version of the Angry Birds game.
Bottom line - The Angry Birds Halloween game is not a new game, but is still as addictive and fun as the first version of the game.
