Freelancing Can Get You Full Time Income
e.
they have a full time job and then moonlight as a freelancer, for additional income.
Agreed that for those who are fairly satisfied with their full time job, this may be a comfortable arrangement but for those who dread the very thought of going to "work" but at the same time, love the prospect of freelancing at will, I would like to reassure them through this article that one CAN in fact make the equivalent (financially) of a full time job, and in fact in a lot of cases, exceed that as well.
Already, there are a lot of people out there who are "freelancing full time".
This implies that while they may be putting in long hours - akin to the number of hours they would put in, in a regular job, they do not work with a single employer, or "go to office" as such.
Instead, they work unabashedly from the comfort of their homes - maybe in their pyjamas and still manage to eke out a pretty good living.
If I take my own case, I have earned a lot more through freelancing than I ever did in a job.
Agreed that income can be rather erratic - and I in fact have to work a lot harder now, but the very fact that I do not have to head anywhere else other than my couch to "get to work" really makes me happy working this way.
Additionally, thanks to freelancing, now I can travel around a lot more freely.
Believe me, till the time I was doing a regular job, I had barely stepped out of my country.
But after having started freelancing, I have been to over a dozen countries - and counting! This flexibility of working from just about anywhere is something that I particularly like a lot about freelancing.
But the biggest piece of encouragement which I could possibly offer you through this article would be the fact that you can truly earn the same amount of money which you were earning in a 9 to 5 job.
I am not saying that this will always be the case, since there are various factors at play such as the level at which you were working, what sort of salary you were earning, the extent to which you involve yourself in freelancing, but by and large, it is a FACT that you can really earn as much or more than what you were earning in a full time job.
Therefore, if you are unhappy with your job and would like to seek out greener pastures which allow you to be in control of your time, and also give you the flexibility to work when you want to and not when you have to, consider freelancing full time as an ideal career option.
