All of us come to a relationship with our own habits, some good ones and some bad ones. The bad habits can cause troubles in the relationship. To avoid relationship problems and to learn how to get back your ex you have to learn how to avoid those bad habits. There are many such bad habits.

Jealousy plagues many otherwise good relationships. A boyfriend might always suspect his girlfriend of going around with other men. This suspicion can be displayed openly or in a more subtle manner. Sometimes, it is a feeling that a person harbors, like a wife who constantly worry that her husband is having an affair. In either case, the jealous person may have nothing real to worry about. This only shows that you have formed the tendency to be jealous.

Another bad habit is not listening fully to what your partner is telling you. Many times we are not observant enough to the needs of our partners. Perhaps you have encounter this yourself, you tried to explain certain things to your partner, and he/she nodded but later you realized that he/she missed certain points!

Sometimes, you notice that when your partner say something interesting, and you begin to chip in. You know that you may not have understood or even remember the other things which he/she has been telling you before that. Having this habit of selective hearing can cause arguments or even resentment to build up.

Some people have formed the habit of relying totally on their partner for many things. They can depend so much on the other person that they lose the ability to take care of themselves. A person in a relationship may become irresponsible at work because of it. They may feel that they are taken care of anyway, so it does not matter. These bad habits can take over every aspect of their lives.

Some couples fall into bad habits in their fighting. It is only normal that two persons staying together will disagree some of the times. Where bad habits come in is the way the arguments are conducted. An example of bad habit in argument is to curse your partner.

Another partner may throw dishes instead. Other bad habit include trying to bring up old issues that will hurt the other person. All these actions are harmful to your relationship.

Many people in relationships get into the bad habits of nagging their partners. This has often been portrayed as a women's fault. Nontheless, men sometimes nag too. It is also possible that both partners are guilty of nagging. That makes for a very unhealthy relationship.

You also need to watch out for blaming your partner. This is a bad habit that erodes a relationship if it goes on too long. This is especially true if only 1 partner is taking the blame all the time. This will result in the person losing self-esteem and feeling very depressed.

Other times, people can blame each other. If this happens, the usual result is a disconnect between the two partners. Most people dont want to be associated with someone who doesnt take responsibilities of what they did. Thats how your partner will look upon you if you always put the blame on him/her for whatever things that go wrong.
