Your Future As a Professional Blogger
If you are a business or professional blogger, then read on...
If you currently blog professionally, which means you write articles every day to one or many different blogs, and earn an income from doing this, possibly from advertising programs like AdSense or affiliate programs you are a "self employed blogger".
This is not a bad job if you can build up enough income to support yourself.
You get to work at home and your writing earns you a nice living.
I know there are many bloggers on my newsletter who do this right now or aim to become professional bloggers soon.
If you STOP and think about the big picture, being a self employed blogger is a DANGEROUS job.
Why? Because it's entirely dependent on your writing.
If you stop writing to your blogs, the income stops coming...
eventually.
You might keep earning for a few months but once you stop the fresh content, the money will stop flowing in the near future.
And don't pretend that you won't ever want to stop writing to your blogs.
You could (heaven forbid) get sick, or you might decide you would like a holiday or perhaps you just grow bored of your blogging topics and want to move on.
BUILD A BLOGGING BUSINESS The answer to this problem is exactly what Rich teaches me in his coaching program - how to set up systems and hire people and GROW A BUSINESS, rather than create a situation of self employment.
In your case if you do blog professionally the answer will involve hiring talented people to write content for you.
You will need systems in place to generate enough income to pay people and make a profit, but if you do things well you can manage a professional blogging BUSINESS, where the blogs actually function without you personally doing all the writing.
Can you imagine that! You can see why I was eager to learn techniques from Rich, because I have no desire to remain committed for the rest of my life to always producing fresh content by myself each and every day.
As much as I like writing, I am not a machine, my motivations change as does my passion for writing, and I can't be 100% dependent on myself for my income, it's just too RISKY.
OUTSOURCE YOUR BLOG WRITING I have already begun to look for ways to keep my blogs going without me as the main writer, and you can see one of my blogs I already have a team of writers who produce the content.
I set this up in a unique way so the writers get financially and intrinsically rewarded but I don't personally have to pay them out of my own pocket.
I'll cover blog outsourcing techniques in a future article, but for now I suggest you start thinking about your blogging future if you are using your blogs as part of an Internet business strategy.
