Using Viral Marketing to generate Web Traffic
A lot of Internet Marketing businesses are dominated by the big players. Viral Marketing offers the little guy a chance, to build a successful online business.
The reason being is that it enables you to promote your offers to constantly growing lists of "targeted" prospects, who may be interested in what you have to offer them. At the same time, it can sharply reduce the costs, to generate the traffic needed, to successfully promote your business.
One form of viral marketing is when you take on a promotion, to sell a product or service to other people, in exchange, for free ad credits.
This is a good way to have a "targeted" mailing list for your offers, without having to go thru the trouble of building a list. Another is when you build your downlines and get recurring commissions.
A downline is when you sign someone up for a promotion and you either make a recurring commission on that person or get additional ad credits, as long as they remain in the program. It depends on the promotion.
One can join some of these programs for free, but the better idea is to pay a small fee, to become a pro member or an elite member.
Before signing for a viral marketing program, you should sign up for a promotion that people need. If your product or service is what they are looking for, you've got another customer.
In promotions where you build advertising credits, this will enable you to send mailings to a growing list of new members. In rotation with other ads, you can also use the advertising credits for displaying your ads. These ads may be seen by thousands of people, on a daily basis. It depends on how big the network is.
If you are on a tight budget, you could use one of the many "free" viral marketing programs, to promote your offers. Costs would be minimal, compared to running a Google AdWords campaign. An adwords campaign is also targeted but it can get very expensive in a hurry.
Once you started building downlines in the promotions that you are offering, you could expand to building downlines in additional promotions. You could build up a pretty good little business, once things got rolling.
