Seattle-Tacoma International Airport is the main airport that services Seattle and a 30-minute drive north of the city center. There are many hotels to suit all budgets along International Boulevard, which runs along the east side of the airport. With so much choice, there is no need to be "sleepless in Seattle." - The Sutton Suites hotel is located one and a half miles from the north end of Seattle Airport. The hotel accommodates short or long stays in either its one-bedroom or studio suites. Each suite has a full kitchen. The motel also has access for physically challenged guests. As of October 2010, it offers a number of accommodation packages. For example, with "Seattle Fly-Park" you receive seven days' parking if you stay for one night. If you prefer to dine out, a Mexican restaurant and pizza take-away are within walking distance.
- The Radisson Hotel is opposite the airport's main entrance, which is a 15-minute drive from downtown Seattle, where you can visit Seattle's iconic Space Needle. The Needle is a large metal tower that has a restaurant on its top floor overlooking the city. Alternatively, you can dine at the hotel's on-site casual restaurant or order room service between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m. All rooms have free Wi-Fi. The hotel is non-smoking throughout, and it is possible to bring your pets to stay. Room rates at the Radisson start at $149 per night as of October 2010.
- If you prefer to stay away from the main road that runs past the airport, Cedarbrook Lodge is a quieter option. It is located a mile from the airport but half a mile from the main boulevard. The hotel has floor-to-ceiling windows, which overlook wetlands, the patio and a pond. It also has a billiards table. You can mix with fellow guests in the living room area on the second floor where complimentary snacks are offered. Cedarbrook Lodge is home to the unique Copperleaf restaurant, which is decorated with organic bamboo fabric and sculptures from local artists. As of October 2010, the private dining menu includes options such as black truffles, house-cured bacon and organic beef.
