If you have suffered with panic attacks for what seems like for ever, it's difficult to believe you are ever going to be able to overcome this condition.
If it seems like you have tried everything and nothing has worked, then you will be glad to know that there still are things you can do that will help.
If you really want to change your life, and if you are really determined to succeed, you do have the power.
You just need to make a commitment to yourself and be prepared to work at it.
Panic attacks are usually caused by stress and anxiety so it would make sense to begin your quest by eliminating the things in your life that are known to contribute to stress.
These are things like alcohol, tobacco, drugs, caffeine, and foods that are full of sugar and junk food.
By removing these things from your diet you will begin to feel better physically and as your anxiety and stress begin to subside you will feel much better mentally.
This will give you the confidence to get to your goal and stop your panic attacks.
There are lots of ways that can help to keep you motivated and one of these is to read a really good self-help book.
One that comes highly recommended is called "At Last a Life" and it's written by a man called Paul David.
It tells the story of his fight to recover from a life that was dominated by panic attacks, and how it was a struggle just to get through a day.
It's not just another how-to book.
It's written with compassion and understanding and because he was once where you are now he knows what you are going through.
He knows you need to take small steps and accept set-backs and the odd mistake.
Because you're human they are going to happen from time to time.
Please read this book.
It cannot fail to give you the inspiration you need to overcome your panic attacks.
