People with severe anxiety disorder often mention that they feel like they are out of control as soon as the attack starts to hit its peak.
Now the reason this happens is because we allow our imagination to take over once the fear arrives, very dangerous.
I will explain how you can take back control it is actually very simple.
So what exactly is severe anxiety disorder? One minute you are a confident self assured person, then with in seconds you can feel powerless and vulnerable after the attack manifests its self.
When the attack is in full swing and you have thousands of sensations running through you body, your mind tends to jump from logic to wild in seconds from the fear created by your own imagination.
The worst part for anyone who has sever anxiety disorder is, they just can not get their head around why they suddenly free powerless during a panic attack.
Now this is where the first mistake kicks in, most people try to fight against an attack, they try to shut it down once there coping techniques such as, Slowing down the breathing has failed, this is when they leap over to the enemy, the wild imagination.

When you work with the bodily sensations and not against them, this is how you can regain control.
Except it, be aware of it, ask it to bring on all the horrible side affects it normally gives you, and always remember this, fear is in you head a panic attack CAN NOT harm you physically.
