Summer"s Almost Over - But Skate Camp Isn"t

Summer may be almost over, but inline skate camping activities are still around. Camp Rollerblade has more training available this year:
  • August 23: Watertown, Wisconsin - Skate Express Rink

  • September 20: Denver, Colorado - This camp is for advanced beginner and intermediate inline skaters and will take place in a skating rink and on local trails.

  • October 11: Washington, DC - Warren Building, McLean, Virginia

  • October 25: Miami, Florida - Crandon Park South Beach, Key Biscayne. A Florida Skating Adventure immediately follows the camp, allowing interested campers to learn how to skate and then go on a skate tour the following week.
These Camp Rollerblade activities are inexpensive, include five hours of skating instruction, and there may be a spot open just for you. All camps run on Saturdays with a one-hour lunch break. There may be a rain makeup day scheduled on the following day (Sunday) or at another time noted on their site.

Does your certified skating school or registered inline group or team have activities for everyone? Leave information in the Inline Skating Forum or contact your Inline Skating Guide (that's me) and I'll be glad to blog, post or profile your activities.
