Windows Media Player

• 1). Go to the Windows Media Download Center (see the link in the References section).
  
  
• 2). Click "Windows Media Player" in the first drop-down box. Click the version you want from within the second drop-down box. Click the language you want from the third drop-down box.
  
  
• 3). Click "Download Now," then "Continue" on the following page. Wait for your download to finish, then open Windows Media Player.
  
  

Windows Movie Maker

• 1). Go to the Windows Media Download Center (see the link in the References section). Read through the list of system requirements to ensure its compatibility with your operating system.
  
  
• 2). Click "Download." You must be running the latest version of Internet Explorer if you want the latest version of Movie Maker. Click "Save" when the window opens.
  
  
• 3). Find the program in the location to which you saved it, and double-click the file. Click "Run" to run the program.
