Packing - Where to Start?

One of the biggest headaches people seem to have is packing to go on holiday - and it seems that this is when the joy of having a coordinated wardrobe is best appreciated.
If you have had your colouring analysed and know your best shades then you will have learned how to co-ordinate your clothes.
Knowing your best neutral shades is key and the ability to pick out one or two to use as a basis for your packing enables you to make sure your look is together.
So whether it's navy or stone, black or grey you need to have a few basics like shoes, handbag, maybe a coat, and trousers all in the same colour.
Then you can work in some more of your most suitable shades, Time of year, temperature and location are always worth taking into account.
No point taking a load of dark shades to the Mediterranean in July - you'll feel very dowdy.
So to get back to our basic coordinated wardrobe, let's say you were packing for the weekend - if you were a Clear type then the coat, bag, shoes and trousers could all be navy - add in some tops in your best red, white (or ivory if that suits you better) and another of your fabulous colours to go with the trousers, maybe emerald green.
If you are away for a couple of days or more it is always advisable to take an extra pair of shoes - in this case we could go with white or cream.
Add in another pair of trousers either blue jeans or red and a dressy top that you could use to eat out.
Having had your colours done you'll know your best jewelry colour so whether it's gold, platinum, pewter or silver your watch and earrings and necklace will all be similar even if not bought as a set.
In our Clear's case she would take silver.
Colour analysis even helps with make-up as once analysed the type of colours you wear for make-up become obvious and your consultant can point out exactly the right shades for you.
So no huge overflowing bags of make-up, a small discreet compact, your foundation, brushes and a couple of lipsticks and you're away.
