Local Sunday Classifieds: Stop The Search!
I know what is like to have to read through the local Sunday classifieds. It is a royal pain in the neck. There are pages of jobs, so you have to be judicious to even apply for, say, five. You have to cull through the openings because with hundreds of people applying for each position. It is nothing person against you, but human resource departments find any reason to cut out people from the pool of hundreds. You don't have a degree in the field? You're out. You don't have years of experience? You're out. It is easy to become frustrated when you could otherwise be their best candidate.
You need experience to get the job. You need the job to gain the experience. If that is not circular logic, circular logic does not exist. With a crop of people looking for position that are either non-existent or are in a different field than what the person has done, it can be a wonder how any one ever finds a job these days. Let alone one from the local Sunday classifieds.
Stop the search. End it entirely. Find new ways to make your living, or improve upon it, than by endlessly spending Sunday afternoon leafing through the classifieds. There are many routes in which one can make money with little to no financial investment. You have heard of people making tremendous amounts of money at home, right? You haven't? Where have you been? With the internet, you have the capability to speak one-on-one to every single person in the world. There's some information for you.
Search for ways to make money online. You need to broaden your outlook of job opportunities. You can continue to search for jobs in your local Sunday classifieds, but is it really worth your effort? I have found mass job listings sources to be extremely ineffective. Did you know that two-thirds of job positions are from contacts? Stop to look for ways to help yourself by yourself. If you are searching in the one-third, you need to think smarter.
