The key to this program is to exercise the body on opposite sides or limbs like arms first then legs next. This type of activity forces your cardio vascular system to shunt blood quickly from one end of the body to the other.
Each exercise will be performed for 2 sets of 6-12 reps at a weight that you barely move by the end of the last set. Preferably you would like to reach the point where you simply cannot move the weight any more [muscular failure] by the 12th rep.
Here the exercise routine:
Squats (machine or free weight either is fine)
Ab crunches (preferably machine)
Leg Curls on a Machine
Bench Press on a Machine
Standing Calf Raises on Machine
Pull Downs (palms facing toward you)
Stretch
Go home
