Fat Loss Factor Review - My Experience With The Program

Hi there, Matt here, and I want to tell you about this wonderful dieting program I purchased online. It's called Fat Loss Factor, and it is a fairly intense program. So if you are not willing to do a lot of hard work and approach weight loss with discipline, this probably is not the right answer for you. If on the other hand you are really dedicated to your workouts and strict dieting, and you want to lose weight and maybe build some muscle in the process, Fat Loss Factor is for you. I had great results with this program, and really enjoyed it all the way through. You can use Fat Loss Factor if you are a man or a woman.

Fat Loss Factor has some customizability, which is great. Even the Beginner level is intense, however, so do not mistake this for an easy program if you stick with the starter level. The Intermediate level is even more challenging. And then there are the Rapid Weight Loss and Extreme Weight Loss levels. I would categorize the latter two as crash diets, however. They are designed for the desperate, as opposed to the hard-working dieter, and require you to give up a lot of nutrition. So my recommendation is to do either the Beginner or Intermediate level and skip out on the other two. I think you will find the Intermediate level very fast as it is.

Regardless of the level you choose to do, you will go through two phases with this diet. There is a detox diet during which you follow a very restrictive plan and do not exercise much (because you are not eating enough calories to justify it), followed by a phase where you work out hard and eat a lot more.

Phase 1: Two Week Detox

This phase is designed to cleanse your body of toxins. A lot of the foods that make us fat also make us sluggish and cause other health problems. And many of them are not even foods; they are sugars and additives. During this phase, you stop eating food-like substances. You also only eat certain types of foods, like fruits and vegetables (organic only), nuts, seeds, and wholesome oils. This phase does not permit meat or dairy, eggs, grains, or sweeteners of any kind. You are told to do light exercise only (if even that) during this phase.

You are not getting a lot of calories or protein here, so that is a good suggestion. I would however suggest that you go out of your way to eat a lot of nuts to get the protein you need! You may also want to consider throwing a couple "forbidden" foods back in there. Many detox diets which are similar allow you to eat eggs and goat cheese, so those are good ideas. You may only drink water while you are detoxing.

Phase 2: The 10-Week Lifestyle Un-Diet

As the name of this diet implies, it is intended to be a more moderate diet which you can adhere to for life. This diet is a lot less extreme, and actually can be sustained over the long term. I am still more or less conforming to the guidelines. You get to eat everything you ate during the first phase, but you also can eat organic meet, fish, eggs, and low fat dairy products. Add back in honey, maple syrup, herbal tea, and whey and hemp protein. If you are familiar with the Paleo diet, this diet follows many of the same rules. Like the Paleo diet, this one steers completely clear of grains. If you decide to start eating grains again after you complete the program, I suggest making sure that they are healthy whole grains. Honey or maple syrup make great replacements for sugar, but you can also try stevia.

This part of the diet includes an exercise program. The strength training program unfolds over 12 weeks, and likewise has four different levels. I did the Intermediate level for both the diet and the exercise. What I liked about this program was that it was very reasonable. I only had to work out for thirty minutes a day, and I only had to do it several days each week. Optional 15-minute workouts are included in the package as an alternative for people with even less time. The following is a video of one of the Fat Loss Factor exercises: One arm bell press.

A Healthy, Moderate Approach to Long-Term Weight Loss

This program is a (mostly) healthy, moderate approach to long term weight loss. That is assuming you ignore the two "extreme" levels of the program, which are indeed extreme. I would not recommend those two levels to anyone. The Beginner or Intermediate levels are both moderate and healthy, and they work incredibly well if you do not violate too many of the rules which are set forth for diet and exercise. It is important to make sure you are getting enough calories to function (check a calorie counter and do some math), and that you are eating adequate protein. Do not try to work out during Phase 1, even if you feel tempted. Believe me, you will lose weight quickly enough without doing it, and you do not want to get yourself sick. You will be able to do plenty of exercise in the next phase.

Phase 2 in particular is an excellent aspect of Fat Loss Factor, because it offers you guidelines you can follow to keep all that weight off over the long term. I enjoy the food I get to eat on Phase 2, and have been following a slightly modified version for about a year now. I also still do the 30-minute workouts several days a week. I am looking better and feeling healthier than I have in years. I've even managed to bulk out a bit, and I met my weight loss goals long ago. I really enjoyed Fat Loss Factor, and I think you will achieve the same amazing results I did if you are committed to following through on the diet.
