I had the responsibility of agencies and key accounts in the various countries. I made my entry into Benetton, however, as Sales Manager of Spain and Portugal, a position related to the particular store management in partnership. After a few months, however, I assumed the role of Sales Manager and Retail for Spain, which led me to having to manage all Benetton stores in the country, not just those in partnership, but also those owned by the company.
Certainly contact with realities other than our own has allowed me to experience new cultures, new lifestyles, making me grow especially as regards the mental approach. I think that experience abroad is useful for this ability to open your mind, because your professionalism must adapt to cultural needs and work in the country where you are.
