The Chew: General Hospital Daily Recap for May 3, 2013
With her phone back, Carly sees she has a ton of messages from Sonny. Concerned, she starts checking them. They're all about Morgan, and they're all urgent.
Michael drops by the Q mansion looking for A.J. His grandmother greets him, saying she doesn't know where he went. Michael mentions that he's so glad that A.J. is working through things with Elizabeth. "Anybody except your mother," Monica mutters, then quickly apologizes. Michael chuckles. His mother wouldn't have anything to do with A.J. They're always fighting. Without even realizing what she's saying, Monica notes that it was that way with her and Alan.
A.J. enters then. Michael informs him that they have a booking on "The Chew" and leaves. Monica suggests that A.J. bring Elizabeth to New York and that they make a romantic evening out of it. The idea intrigues Michael.
Elizabeth meanwhile is at General Hospital calling A.J. on his cell. Britt is at the reception desk also and has an attack of morning sickness. Elizabeth is surprised, under the impression that she wasn't keeping the baby.
Patrick informs her that she still has it. Elizabeth goes to check on her but is back seconds later, telling Patrick that something is wrong.
Felix and Sabrina are also at General Hospital, where they work occasionally, Felix asks how Patrick was since the abortion. Sabrina says that there wasn't one. Felix is sure Britt never planned on having an abortion; she's a big fake.
Patrick and Elizabeth walk Britt into the room. Patrick asks Sabrina to get some water while Elizabeth puts in his order for tests. Felix goes with Elizabeth and wonders if she saw Britt actually vomiting. No. Felix gets Sabrina out of the room and reports. "What can we do about it?" Sabrina asks. "Do about what?" It's Patrick. Sabrina homina-hominas and finally stammers that they're discussing being on the night shift schedule.
Patrick wants Sabrina to stay with Britt while he steps away. Britt has just finished slapping some insult on Elizabeth, so she departs. Sabrina enters and closes the door. "I know you're faking," Sabrina states. Britt looks at her as if she has no idea what Sabrina is talking about. Patrick walks in as Sabrina is ranting.
Out at reception, A.J. extends an invitation to Elizabeth to accompany him to New York.
Tracy arrives on Spoon Island to see Nikolas, her new business partner. Furious, she tells him that Duke Lavery booked Pickle-Lila on "The Chew." Nikolas is a riot. "The Chew?" He says it as if it's a foreign language. Tracy wants Nikolas to use his princely connections to get them bumped. Nikolas thinks he and Tracy should appear on the show with their relish, the now unfortunately named "Pickle-Eddie." Nikolas isn't happy with the title, but Tracy goads him using the fact that A.J. is his rival for Elizabeth.
Nikolas gets on the phone, but when he's finished, he can't give Tracy the news she wants. The show has made a commitment to Pickle-Lila. That's the bad news. The good news is that the producers want a taste-off right on national television. They will appear on "The Chew" the same day! "An ambush!" Tracy yells, smiling. She's thrilled.
Visiting Johnny at Pentonville, Olivia explains to Johnny that Connie wound up going to Sonny about Morgan. She needs him to tell her that this isn't some sort of setup to bring down Sonny. Johnny is somewhat amused that she's so concerned about Sonny. Olivia objects. She's known the man since high school and had his child. Johnny still care about her and doesn't want her to be hurt. Olivia apologizes for even thinking that he set Sonny up, and emotionally, she tells Johnny if he needs anything, he is to call her. "Take care of yourself," Johnny says as she leaves.
Sonny is in Nashville, and according to a sign on Morgan's door, it's "Poker Nite." No one answers. Sonny demands that the dean open the door. He gives Sonny an argument, but ultimately, he loses. Perhaps it was the sight of Shawn's gun, no way to know.
Inside Morgan's room, his roommate Travis is standing there holding a gun on them. His hand is pretty shaky, too. He doesn't know who they are and thinks they want to kill him. Sonny talks him down and it turns out it's not a real gun. The dean wants to call the cops, but Sonny decides otherwise.
Travis admits that he and Morgan are in for $50,000 in gambling debt. He also says he thinks he knows where to locate Morgan. Carly calls Sonny, and he advises her to stay home in case Morgan shows up. He also asks Shawn to get the pertinent information to Spinelli so that he can help them find Morgan.
Before going to New York, Michael sees his mother at the MetroCourt. Carly asks him if he's talked to his brother, and he says no and asks what's happening.
