There are many things strangers, as well as loved ones take upon themselves to tell us when we are pregnant.
Sometimes though, whether they intended to do so, or not, they are only telling us from the negative side of things and they leave out the positive things.
There are Wonderful Positives as Well Yes, it is true, there will be interrupted sleep, and crying, inability to finish a task as quickly as we usually do and the list can go on.
However, children are a blessing, therefore, let us not allow them to become a burden to us, because of the thoughts of others.
They will make us laugh and cry (in a good way), they will teach us things and we will be able to teach them things and at times, we will find ourselves planting kisses all over their faces just because of the affections that we have for them.
There is much to be had in a mother and baby relationship.
Nap when Baby does This cannot be emphasis too often and that is, always try to nap when the baby is sleeping.
It is okay to just lie on the bed without napping, but it is better if we do nap.
This will not only be beneficial for us, but also for our relationship with our child.
As we would have known by now, there will be nightly interruptions from our rest and if we are sleep deprived, we will not be able to see, get to know and enjoy our baby in ways that we can.
It may be Hard to Leave Baby If we will be returning to work after the birth of our child, it may be hard for us to leave him/her when the time arrives.
In order to help with this, we can arrange with a loved one to spend a few minutes with the baby so that we can practice, if we will, leaving our child for a little while.
This is not going to keep us from wanting to turn back and return home on that particular day, but it will help us to keep going.
Your Body will Adapt Although our child is going to demand a lot of physical action from us, let us not worry too much about our body not being able to cope.
It would cope.
Just keep maintaining the healthy lifestyle that we have been practicing since finding out that we were pregnant and our body will adjust to its demands.
