How to Change 99 Camaro Front Signal Lights
- 1). Raise the front end of the Camaro with a floor jack. Position jack stands beneath the vehicle's frame rails and lower the Camaro onto the stands.
- 2). Crawl beneath the vehicle and remove the screws securing the plastic splash guard to the front underside of the vehicle. Pull the splash guard off the Camaro.
- 3). Reach behind the turn signal assembly and grab the bulb socket. Twist this socket counterclockwise to unlock it, and pull the socket away from the assembly.
- 4). Pull the failed bulb from the socket with a slight wiggling motion. Grab a new 3157 bulb, using a clean, lint-free cloth, and press it into the socket. Do not touch the bulb with your bare hands, as the oils from your hands may cause early bulb failure.
- 5). Insert the socket and new bulb into the rear of the turn signal assembly and twist the socket clockwise to lock it in place.
- 6). Set the splash guard back in place, then tighten the screws with a Phillips screwdriver.
- 7). Lift the Camaro from the jack stands, using a floor jack, and remove the stands. Lower the Camaro to the ground.
