Achmed the Terrorist - The Best Bits to Watch When Choosing Which Comedy to Spend the Night With
You organise your favorite beverages, and suitable snacks alongside your favoruite armchair.
You feel great and you have everything just as you like it, but you then have to decide which piece of Achmed footage/DVD you are going to watch! Jeff Dunham has grown in popularity, setting down his comedy roots back in 1988 in various Los Angeles comedy venues such as the Comedy & Magic club, and Improv to name a few.
Anyway, Jeff carried on doing what he does best and has now created a great range of hilarious DVD's and TV shows that you can watch via the internet or from a DVD player.
Yes, I know you might have to move from your chair to the PC to review the internet clips, unless you have got the PC connected to the TV, in which case relax and enjoy the evening! The footage shows off some of his much loved comedy character puppets whom all form part of his funny ventriloquist acts.
One such act, is the much discussed Achmed the dead terrorist ("Silence, I kill you!" fame).
One such DVD is entitled "Sparks of Insanity", and features Achmed the terrorist doing politics, and making a pretty funny job of it too.
It's definitely one to watch, if you want to guarantee a good night in, in front of the TV, and is one that I can highly recommend.
There is, naturally, some older footage, again which is brilliantly funny.
"Jeff Dunham: Arguing with Myself" was recorded in 2006 and enjoys all the magical embellishment you've come to expect from any Jeff Dunham performance.
Jeff has also performed in a movie called "Larry the Cable Guy: Delta Farce" where he appeared as "the Amazing Ken", which featured another of his creations - the brilliant Jose Jalapeno Pepper on a stick, from 2007.
As an alternative idea you could put on some of your best headphones and listen to some Achmed audio, from the free ringtone of Achmed the Terrorist - "Silence I kill you", and an Achmed the dead terrorist Christmas special full length comedy routine, finally through to his funny comedy Christmas album which came out November 2008.
In this album, one of the songs is called "Jingle Bombs".
So, why not watch this hilarious comic who was voted by fans the top comic in Comedy Central's stand up showdown.
Who could resist? Silence! I kill you!
