• 1). Access the State of Texas Attorney General's website. Click "Child Support Interactive" to access the state's online child support tool.
  
  
• 2). Select "Noncustodial Parent Login" and enter your member ID. If you do not know your member ID number, you can contact the Texas Attorney General Child Support Division at 800-252-8014 and request it.
  
  
• 3). Enter your Social Security number in the appropriate field and click "Login."
  
  
• 4). Review the "Payments/Case Status" information. If you owe any back child support, it will be listed in the "Arrears" section of the screen.
  
  

By Phone

• 1). Call the State of Texas Attorney General Child Support Division's hotline at 800-252-8014.
  
  
• 2). Select your language preference by pressing the corresponding key on your phone's keypad. Select "Noncustodial Parent" when prompted.
  
  
• 3). Enter your member ID on the phone's keypad and the last four digits of your Social Security number when prompted by the system.
  
  
• 4). Listen to the review of your case. If any back child-support payments are owed, the amount will be supplied by the system.
  
  

In Person

• 1). Locate your local State of Texas Attorney General Child Support Division's office.
  
  
• 2). Visit the office during business office. Be sure to take current picture identification, such as a driver's license or state ID card.
  
  
• 3). Ask to speak with a caseworker. She will be able to look up your case and determine if you owe any back child support payments. You can also obtain other information, such as upcoming court dates.
