How to Decorate Your Wedding Ceremony at a Low Cost
One great idea on how to achieve this is by using hanging garden aisle markers. They are plants with flowers in a jar that hangs from shepherds hooks. You place them along the aisle replacing the usual flower aisle runners. And after the ceremony is done, you can now use them for your wedding reception. You can either use them on the place where you will greet your visitors or you can remove the wire hangers and put the jars at the guests table making them centerpieces or you can just do both.
These hanging garden aisle markers are also so easy to make. You will just need some shepherd's hook, four feet to five feet tall, clear decorative glass jars of your choice, silver floral wire, wire cutters, potting soil, pea gravel, activated charcoal, and of course your plants and flowers of your choice. Just assemble them together and do not forget your artistic side in doing this.
If you think you are not that into plants and you just do not want to make your hands dirty, you can still hire a florist to do this for you, but you can save a lot if you and some of your bridesmaids can do this. This will also save you up the time and effort in creating great wedding centerpieces since you can even create these days or weeks before your wedding.
Unlike if you will use the normal flower arrangements that you may even find a waste after the wedding. With using hanging gardens, you or some of your family, bridesmaids, and guests who just love plants can even take one at home as part of your wedding favors, another saving since you can cut more costs for them.
But if you think that making a mini-garden out of your ceremony and wedding reception is not the theme you would want for your wedding, you can still use different types of flowers, sand and shells, and even candles, any items that you think will suit your wedding décor.
