Call the Representative

• The best way to begin preparation for your home party is to call the representative who will be coming to perform the party. Ask what activities will be involved. Will the activities include manicures, pedicures, facial masks, games, or raffles?
  
  

Appetizers and Set-up

• Appetizers are a considerate gesture, if the party will last for more than three hours. Light appetizers like crackers and a cheese ball, and vegetable and fruit platters will suffice. For drinks, offer cold water, or a fruit punch made with natural juices instead of sodas, coffee or caffeinated teas.
  
  Set up at least two tables for your event: one in the room where the party will take place, and another in the kitchen for refreshments.
  
  

Decorations

• Decorations can be based on a theme. If your theme is about pampering the girls, decorate with suitable colors, such as white and pink. Buy disposable tablecloths, napkins, plates, and silverware. Buy clear plastic cups and some pastel-colored permanent markers. Write names on the plastic cups and decorations such as hearts and stars around the names. If you will not have enough seats on couches, sofas, or chairs, bring out extra pillows and accentuate the girls' night out.
  
  

The Party

• If manicures, pedicures, and facials will be involved, the first thing to do is look at what is needed. When engaging in skin care, it is important to hydrate the skin to receive optimal treatment effects.
  
  The representative will provide all of the skin care products being used, but they might not provide a foot soak. So gather several dish pans and towels and put them under the table in the party room. Also gather nail files, emery boards, and nail polish if the representative will not be providing these tools.
  
  When the representative arrives, help her sort everything on the table. Provide three to five copies of the catalog, product lines that will be used, any instruction manuals, samples, and any instruments that you have provided.
  
  

Invitations

• Invitations can be as simple as a quick, cute email or paper invitations. Invitations should include necessary details such as date, time, location, and RSVP telephone number. Include any other relevant details such as attire, what to bring, and special requests.
