DIY Winter Wedding Invitations
- 1). Lay the large piece of white card stock horizontally. Use scissors to score the card stock down the middle, making two equal halves. Fold the card stock in half, making a card. Turn the card vertically, so the opening is facing right.
- 2). Brush glue on the back of the silver metallic card stock. You can also use blue or black card stock, or any other color you like, as long as the color represents winter and gives the invitation a wintry, icy look. Glue the card stock vertically on top of the card you just made.
- 3). Cut a piece of ribbon that is 9 inches long. Position the ribbon vertically on top of the silver metallic card stock. Fold each end over the top and bottom edges of the card and glue the ribbon in place.
- 4). Pour silver glitter onto a paper plate, completely covering the bottom of the plate. Use a die cutting machine, such as a Cricut or a Cuttlebug, to cut out a silver snowflake that is about 2 inches in diameter. Spray the snowflake with adhesive glue on one side, and lay the glued side down into the glitter. Glue the snowflake onto the ribbon on the invitation.
