- 1). Lay one handkerchief on top of the other, matching the edges.
- 2). Pin the scarves together along the left and right sides to create an hourglass shape from the bust downward. Pin the shape a little larger than the actual body to ensure that the dress will be able to slip on and off easily.
- 3). Sew along the pinned hourglass shape with the sewing machine. Trim thread ends with scissors.
- 4). Tie the top left layers of the handkerchiefs into a double knot or bow to create a shoulder strap. Repeat with the top right layers to create the opposite shoulder strap.
