Fabrics are also important. In addition to satins and silk shantung, there are still sheer fabrics such as chiffons, organza, and satin-faced organza. Satins and silk shantung are still the most commonly used fabric while chiffons, organza, and satin-faced organza provide a light breezy look to the bride. There is the tulle skirt that allows cloud-like appearance to a skirt.

And finally to finish your gown, surface treatments should also be considered. Embroidery is replacing traditional lace appliques on dresses that create artful design. There are also scattered beads and pearl bridal jewlelry that create accent dresses without the lace. And then, newer lace style features smaller patterns and more intricate details.
