FAN FEEDBACK AND QUESTIONS
Tonyskd75 writes: “I am a big fan of OLTL and would like to know about Scott Bryce. Now that he got fire from As the World Turns, would he come back to OLTL? He is my favorite actor and did a wonderful job on ATWT.”
Dear Tonyskd75: I’m sorry but I haven’t been following Scott Bryce’s career since he did his brief stint on One Life to Live. I did watch him many years ago on As the World Turns and I agree that he is a good actor.
I don’t know of any plans to bring him back to OLTL. Maybe if Jessica needs a shrink again down the line they will call him back. The way Nash is behaving lately, who knows what the Tess part of her will do?
Kit writes: “About Nash, no one seems to be concerned about where he's getting his money. Plus he's getting it in cash, which is bad news, and he doesn't even seem to read the papers he's signing. I thought he was smarter than this. I have a suspicion that Dorian is behind this as well. It’s another way to destroy Clint and Viki’ take down their daughter Jessie and her husband. It's for sure she'll get her digs at Natalie over Jared. That just about takes care of the Buchanan's and everyone connected to them.”
Dear Kit: Nash is acting like a fool. His drive to make a success of himself without the help of the Buchanan money is going to bury him because he’s letting his ego run his life right now and I see only trouble for him and Jessica because of it. And yes, Dorian wants to take over B.E.
as a final slap at Clint for dumping her. She wouldn’t mind shafting the other Buchanans either. Getting her claws into all the Buchanans would make her very happy, although I will say that she has always liked Jessica so maybe she wouldn’t hurt Nash. Who knows?
Jamie writes: “Just one comment about Todd and the man who raised him; it has NEVER been stated that Peter Manning raped Todd as a child. He abused him, yes, but not sexually. Now I know someone will bring up his little stint with DID, but Todd faked that to get out of going to prison for some crime he committed. Even Viki stated this and she was angry with him for doing it. Now, on to Antonio, YES, he is being a total jerk. My only hope is that it is all an act for Ramsey’s benefit. Otherwise, I hate TIIC for doing this to him. He had come so far and has been thru so much.”
Dear Jamie: Thank you very much for clarifying those facts about Todd. Honestly, I didn’t see all of Todd’s history way back then, so I wasn’t sure about all the facts, but I did know very well about him faking DID and how much it hurt Viki. As far as Antonio is concerned, somehow I can’t see him being so naïve that he would blindly accept Ramsey as the commissioner after all that he’s been told about him. Antonio has come a long way but his temper can set him back years if he’s not careful.
Lorraine writes: “I hate to disagree, but John and Evangeline were almost X-rated when it came to heating up the screen. Natalie and John were like white bread dipped in milk. I think the John/Natalie fans fantasize when it comes to them. Doesn't B.E. have more offices? Are Jared and Natalie still sharing an office? Every time she looks up, he's in her face. What a nuisance! Bo doesn't live in the real world. Asa did what he had to do to keep his company and if the family wants to keep it, they better get with the program. Bo needs to start detecting who and why someone is trying to take over the company and stop passing judgment on Clint. As usual, Nora is sickening when she falls in love. She doesn't give a man air to breathe. I don't know how Clint does it. I feel for Dorian when they find out she's the one behind the take-over. Lindsay is going to have a fit.”
Dear Lorraine: The one thing I am not going to do is dredge up that old John/Van/Nat argument again. Been there, done that. Jared and Nat are still kind of sharing an office because they are remodeling Jared’s. How convenient. As for Bo, I think he definitely lives in the real world. I think Clint has changed in ways that surprise everyone and just because he’s doing business, doesn’t mean he has to be unethical. I think you’re right about the fact that they should concentrate on who is behind this mess, but I’m with Bo and Viki on this one. I don’t really agree about Nora. I think she’s with the wrong man and that makes me uncomfortable when I see her with Clint. I only see them as friends. And I surely won’t feel for Dorian if and when she gets busted because she’ll find a way to slither out of trouble one way or the other; she always does.
