Panic attacks are instances wherein individuals suffer from severe fear and panic.

In turn, panic disorder is a condition wherein the patient suffers from chronic panic attacks which at some point results to the person being unable to carry out even the most basic activities.

Deep Breathing Deep breathing is a technique not very much known to relax the body.
We do it a lot everyday but only a few people recognize and acknowledge the ability of deep breathing to relax the whole body.
Remember that our body requires huge amounts of oxygen and breathing is the process where we get oxygen into our body.
Also, there are researches that show that a low oxygen count in the blood stream (which equates to a higher amount of carbon dioxide) is a major cause of panic attack.
In relation to that, a person suffering from the disorder should not go to places where it is crowded or where there is less oxygen.

Walking Do you remember times when you are feeling nervous and you try to walk it off? Walking is another form of relaxing the mind and the body.
When walking, we use almost all of our muscles (walking is the best exercise), loosening them in the process.
Also, try to walk outdoors where there are plenty of plants and trees.
That way, we also get fresh air and get oxygen to our bloodstream.

Yoga Yoga, which originated from India, is a traditional physical activity that aims to improve our mind and our body.
It is very much known to relax the body and improve our breathing.
Putting all this components together (improved mind, body and breathing), yoga is one of the best exercises that can be used to combat panic attacks.
