A Day in the Galápagos
No guidebook can prepare you for the experience of walking among the islands' wildlife, discovering how they have adapted and photographing them from a few feet away. Every day, you enjoy an excursion in the morning and in the afternoon, which may include activities such as exploring on foot, kayaking, snorkeling with equipment provided by the crew or cruising the islands' hidden nooks by panga. Our expertise and intimate knowledge of the islands means plenty of private landings on beaches and coves no other tour operators visit.
When sailing on board 'Eclipse,' the fun does not end when you return from your excursion. Gather on deck for an al fresco snack and whale watching. At night, clear skies make for spectacular stargazing alongside expert guides (weather permitting). Your on-board naturalists offer a nightly presentation about the island's history, geography or wildlife.

Española
Isolated from the other islands, Española shelters a wide variety of unique endemic species, most remarkably the waved albatross. From April through December, these magnificent birds mate and raise their newborn chicks.
Santiago
With its abundance of landing sites, Santiago was long a favorite of pirates and whaling ships. Denizens of Santiago include fur seal, pink flamingo and Galápagos hawk.
Isabela
Isabela is the product of six separate volcanoes, five of which remain active. It has the largest tortoise population of any of the islands, and also boasts penguin, cormorant, blue-footed booby, pelican and Sally Lightfoot crab.
Rabida
Rabida's maroon-colored sand provides a resting ground for marine iguana and sea lion, while brown pelican nest in the trees nearby. Rabida also offers excellent snorkeling.
Fernandina
Few plants thrive in Fernandina's volcanic landscape, but the island do;
