Hi, I'm Yvette Mullings, and today we're talking about really cheap ways to decorate your home. If you need to spruce up your home on a tight budget, a really great cheap and dramatic way to do this is with paint. The obvious way of course to use paint is to paint an entire room. But why limit yourself to just that? Instead, paint just the molding and doors in an unexpected color to create an instant updated look. painting an accent wall is one of the easiest and most impactful ways to liven up a room. Choose a color that coordinates well with the existing paint color. Then you can even take it a step further by adding stripes or a faux finish to that wall. While using wall paper in an entire room can be expensive, if you use it on one wall, it definitely becomes affordable. You can choose a pattern that brings in drama to your room, like this red geometric, or try bringing in some texture with grass cloth. Decorating your home doesn't need to be an expensive undertaking. A dramatic change can be made with just one can of paint or a roll of wallpaper.
